Infrastructure and Facilities

Turkish Airlines Technic Inc. is a strong company with facilities and infrastructure requirements as "Aircraft Maintenance Training and Examination Organization" under EASA Part-145/SHY-145 and EASA Part-147/SHY-147.

 Having the capacity to provide theoretical training to more than 100.000 participants annually, Turkish Airlines Technic Inc. conducts these trainings at 39 classrooms and 1 conference hall in following areas:

 ·        20 classrooms at Ataturk Airport (AHL),

·        18 classrooms and a conference room at the Sabiha Gokcen Airport (SAW),

·        1 classroom at the Esenboga Airport (ESB).

 Basic practical trainings are carried out in avionics, mechanical, structural, composite and engine training workshops, on Boeing B737 training aircraft and maintenance simulators, by competent and experienced trainers. Type practical trainings are also carried out on the relevant aircraft types in maintenance environment and maintenance simulators. In addition to aforementioned practical trainings, on-the-job training (OJT) is provided on aircraft and at the relevant workshops in the maintenance hangars of all facilities.

 Turkish Airlines Technic Inc. which has got computerized rooms with a capacity of 80 seats designed for examinations, is also serving as an approved examination center which organizes module exams for both its own technicians as well as others who work in the civil aviation sector.
