TRAINING/ EXAM PARTICIPANT PRIVACY NOTICE FOR PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

This Privacy Notice defines and sets out the terms and conditions to procure that your personal data shall be processed by Türk Hava Yolları Teknik Anonim Şirketi, acting as the data controller, situated at the address of "Sanayi Mahallesi, Havaalanı İç Yolu Caddesi, Sabiha Gökçen Havalimanı E Kapısı No:3, Pendik/İstanbul" (the "Company") in line with the Personal Data Protection Law no. 6698 (the "Law") and the applicable legislation.

Purpose of processing personal data

For and in connection with the training services offered by us, we process your personal data with the purpose to make sure that you will be taking and making use of training / examination services provided by the Company in its capacity as the Aircraft Maintenance Training and Examination Provider and in relation thereto, such personal data include your name, surname, e-mail address, phone number, Turkish ID number or passport number, date of birth, profile picture, place of birth and related details, your ID card, training payment advice note and your birth registry copy as well as your medical report which is essential for you to participate in the training courses.

To whom Personal Data is transferred, and Purpose of such Transfer

Your personal data that is compiled by us may be disclosed to our suppliers and collaborators that provide services to us for the organization of training/ examination operations, and upon request, to legally competent public agencies (courts, public prosecutor’s offices and institutions etc.) in line with the purpose of processing as defined in this Privacy Notice.

Methods and Legal Grounds to collect Personal Data

Your personal data is electronically collected based on your statements submitted by you via forms that you complete to make use of training/ examination services, or by virtue of partially or completely automatic methods through the relevant systems in the course of your use.

Your personal data is processed pursuant to the Law no. 5651 on Editing and Organization of Online Broadcasts and Publications and Fight against Crimes committed through those Publications” and pursuant to Article 5/2(a) thereof and based on the legal grounds where the data processing is mandatory in order to fulfil our legal obligation, as the data controller, pursuant to Article 5/2(ç) thereof.

Form of Application to Data Controller and Your Rights

Pursuant to Article 11 of the Law, you are entitled to apply to our Company;
a) To inquire about if your personal data have been processed,
b) If the answer is yes, then to ask for information,
c) To inquire about the purpose of processing and whether or not such data is used in line with that purpose,
d) To learn about the parties to whom the data is transferred in Turkey/ abroad,
e) To ask or correction if such data is incompletely/ incorrectly processed,
f) To ask that such data shall be erased/ destroyed in line with the terms and conditions set out in Article 7 of the Law,
g) To ask that such actions taken pursuant to paragraphs (e) and (f) above shall be notified to third parties to whom such data has been transferred,
h) To object to such consequences that are against you on account of the analyses via solely automatic systems,
i) To ask for the compensation of your losses that you may sustain on account of unlawful processing.

TRAINING COURSE/ EXAM PARTICIPANT FOR PROCESSING THEIR PERSONAL DATA

I hereby agree undertake and represent that I have read this information letter with clarifications about the Explicit Consent Statement of the Data Subject submitted by TÜRK HAVA YOLLARI TEKNİK A.Ş. (the “Company”) to me and that I hereby consent that the Company, acting as the data controller, may collect, record, save, process, store and transfer my personal data subject to the terms and conditions set out in the laws, regulations, communiqués and other applicable legislation and in accordance with the “Personal Data Protection Law” no. 6698.

I hereby represent, agree and undertake that my personal data has been collected when I created a membership account over the Company’s web site at the address of https://training.turkishtechnic.com so that I can participate in training courses/ examinations at a later time, including my name, surname, e-mail address, phone number, Turkish ID number or passport number, date of birth, profile picture, place of birth and related details, my ID card, training payment advice note and my birth registry copy as well as my medical report which is essential for me to participate in the training courses and that I hereby consent that they may be transferred to the Company and all its subsidiaries, Türk Havayolları A.O. (Turkish Airlines), and General Directorate of Civil Aviation (SHGM) and General Directorate of State Airports Authority (DHMİ) and European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and other relevant local, national and international authorities in line with my personal interests.
